Our Mission

At Pine & Palm, our mission is to offer 1:1 tutoring, grounded in exposing and nurturing the brilliance within each person through connection, coaching, and collaboration. 

We are eagerly seeking passionate and experienced educators who bring positivity to every interaction. Tutors will work one-on-one with the same students in-person and/or online, providing customized academic support based on unique learning needs. 

Working hours are flexible, but you should be able to work a minimum of 3 hours per week. 

Provide individualized instruction 

Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of each student

Utilize engaging and interactive materials to enhance learning

Communicate progress with parents and/or teachers as needed

Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field

Teaching certification preferred

Orton Gillingham/ Lindamood-Bell experience a plus

Experience working with special needs students

Strong communication skills

Comfortable using online tutoring platforms if working remotely
